Here is the analogy I frequently share when asked this question:<\/p>\n

Somewhere\u00a0near\u00a0the\u00a0middle\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0line\u00a0is\u00a0the\u00a0homeostasis\u00a0amount.\u00a0This\u00a0is\u00a0the\u00a0amount of enzymes needed\u00a0for\u00a0your\u00a0body to\u00a0maintain\u00a0it's\u00a0free-from-cancer\u00a0status (this is when the\u00a0proper\u00a0amount\u00a0of\u00a0enzymes are\u00a0created\u00a0daily by your pancreas to\u00a0seek\u00a0and\u00a0destroy\u00a0any\u00a0anomalous\u00a0cells\u00a0as\u00a0they are\u00a0identified by your immune system). When cancer is present it means that, at\u00a0some\u00a0point in the past,\u00a0the amount\u00a0of\u00a0cancer\u00a0stimulants in your body overwhelmed your pancreas' ability to produce enough enzymes to keep you cancer-free and it began\u00a0to\u00a0lose\u00a0the\u00a0battle.<\/p>\n
The amount of enzymes needed to stop more cancer from developing will vary greatly from person to person and I cannot\u00a0name a number that is the “ideal” number for your brother. The more enzymes consumed the more likely the cancer load is going to be lessened.<\/p>\n
